Free Cursed Text Generator
This tool generates the creepiest, most corrupted version of your text using layered Unicode combining marks stacked above, through, and below each letter. Adjust the intensity from a mild haunting to full demonic chaos using the presets or the slider. Copy it and paste it anywhere — Discord, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, or your next creepypasta.
What Makes Text "Cursed"?
Cursed text stacks combining diacritical marks — the same Unicode characters used for language accents — in extreme quantities on top of ordinary letters. When dozens pile onto a single character, the text appears to bleed out of its line, spilling upward and downward in an unsettling, supernatural cascade. The result looks broken, corrupted, and intentionally wrong.
Intensity Levels Explained
- Mild — subtle distortion, still readable. Good for usernames.
- Haunted — visible corruption, spooky but legible. Good for bios.
- Cursed — strong effect, harder to read. The classic look.
- Demonic — heavy cascade, very difficult to read clearly.
- Maximum — full chaos. Maximum marks, maximum creep.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is cursed text the same as Zalgo text?
They're very similar. Zalgo is the original name — from a horror meme — while "cursed text" is the broader term people search for. Both use the same Unicode combining-mark technique. This generator uses the full mark set for maximum effect.
Why does it look different after pasting?
Each app renders combining marks using its own font, so the visual density and positioning shifts slightly between platforms. Lower intensity gives more consistent results across apps.
Is it free?
Yes, free and unlimited.
